Moey Nelson is an interior designer, creative director, and lifelong student of how spaces make people feel. Primarily based in California, her work is characterized by a seamless integration of visual storytelling and spatial transformation — a testament to her multifaceted education and vibrant tapestry of diverse experiences.

Equipped with a unique blend of skills in floral design, installation art, art direction and event styling, Moey brought those skills into a practice defined by atmosphere, narrative, and the human experience. With an academic background from the California College of the Arts and Emily Carr Institute of Art & Design, Moey has spent the past fifteen years integrating her passion for fiber sculpture, cinema, fashion and interior design into visual narratives within film, exhibitions, residential and commercial spaces.

Moey's career has unfolded across a rich range of contexts. She specializes in creating immersive, experiential interiors. Her approach to design is holistic, considering not only aesthetics but also the narrative each space conveys — a philosophy deepened through her design education and nearly a decade of focused interior design practice.

In addition to floral arranging and large-scale botanical installations, Moey has orchestrated events and designed environments for luxury hospitality and commercial spaces. Her background as a photo-stylist, window display artist, cinematic art director, and creative director for a five-star hotel highlights her ability to blend functionality with visual appeal — creating spaces that interact with their contextual themes and leave a lasting impression.

She believes in the transformative power of design to evoke emotions, inspire creativity, and enhance the human experience. Her work reflects a commitment to the seamless integration of intuition, sensation, and engagement.
